Files received in Text or Binary mode will be stored with these Creator and Type signatures (MacBinary Format automatically sets these informations).
The menu displays the documents types used to store the files received in Text or Binary mode. It can be edited to present the most frequently used.
Cancel and Prompt are identical when FTPack is used in a Terminal-Emulation application.
Rename and Append : as in previous menu.
Overwrite: replace an existing file without warning !
Store: replaces existing files with the newly received ones.
Store Unique: changes the name of the received file to avoid conflicts if necessary
(ex: "file" into "file-1").
Append: appends the data received to the end of the existing file.
Specify here the default transfer mode.
Check this option to skip the received NewLine characters. This may prevent your Text Processing program of displaying double spaces between each line of the document you received. This feature is activated only when Transfer Mode is "Text".
Check this option to transmit a NewLine character after each Return character.
NewLines are often needed by machines other than your Macintosh.
